The automobile museum

Born in 1956 at San Martino in Rio (Reggio Emilia)

It is the starting point of the Italian vintage car collecting, together with the Biscaretti da Ruffia Museum.
Born in 1956, has hosted some of the cars that have made the history of the automobile, such as – among many others – the Autoavio 815 (the first car produced by Enzo Ferrari).
It is a particular and unique structure: a group of enthusiasts, who keep their vehicles under a common roof, instead of their personal garages. It is not a car maker or a rich collector museum.

With the cars of our members or simply enthusiasts, the team organizes cultural and culinary trips.

Today is one of the most important organizations in the region Emilia Romagna as far as the number of members is concerned, even if we are based in a little city.

Besides we have a proven speed and efficiency to look after the ASI paper such as CRS and CI

Il Museo dell’Automobile di San Martino in Rio nasce nel 1956.
E’ il punto di partenza, insieme con il Museo Biscaretti di Torino, del collezionismo italiano.
La sua è una struttura unica e particolare: un gruppo di appassionati che conservano i loro mezzi sotto un tetto comune, anziché nei loro garage personali. Non una casa automobilistica o un ricco mecenate: il Museo dell’Automobile di San Martino appunto, strettamente legato alla Scuderia San Martino.

La Scuderia San Martino, è UN CLUB FEDERATO all’ASI.
Con le auto d’epoca di soci e semplici appassionati, organizza gite culturali e gastronomiche.
Oggi rappresenta una tra le realtà più importanti dell’Emilia Romagna per numero di associati, nonostante si trovi in un comune di piccole dimensioni. Ha inoltre una comprovata rapidità ed efficienza nell’espletamento delle pratiche ASI quali CRS e CI.
